Zipper is leading an interesting life. At 10 months, she escaped from us at a dog show and went on a week long walk-about in a thousand acres of orchards in record high summer temperatures. How she ate or kept away from the major highways bordering the area, we'll never know, but after a harrowing week of intensive searching, we finally got her back, none the worse for wear. Shown three weeks later, she was Best in Sweepstakes AND Reserve Winners Bitch from the 9-12 Puppy Class at the 2013 ASDCA Regional Specialty at the Del Monte KC. The following day, she was Best of Winners at the ASDCA Supported Entry for a 5 pt. major to her litter brother's Best of Breed. At 13 months, she earned a Group I in a very competitive Bred-by Working Group at the Sir Francis Drake KC and was Best Working Dog at the 2013 ASDCA National Specialty. She finished her title with a 4 point major at a ASDCA Supported Entry. Only shown a couple of times in 2014, she was Best of Breed at the Golden Gate KC and BOS at the ASDCA Supported Entry at Woofstock. She is currently a full-time goat guardian.
