Salmon Creek Ranch has 100% purebred New Zealand AKGA registered Kiko Goats for sale. Kikos descend from feral goats who came down from those first brought to New Zealand by Captain Cook and were selected to be parasite resistant, superb foragers and to have trouble-free kidding. ("Kiko" means "meat" in Maori.) We also have chevon (goat meat) for sale occasionally from goats who free range on organic certified pasture. Our closed herd is CL & CAE tested clear.  To protect our stock from the many predators in our area, we use a combination of Anatolian Shepherds (an ancient breed from Turkey) and electric fences.
