From
Southbound US 101, take Hwy 12 at
Santa Rosa and go west towards Sebastopol. Go through
Sebastopol and continue on Hwy 12, which becomes Bodega Ave.
Go through the village of Bodega until you come to the
intersection of Highway 12 and Highway 1. Turn right on
Highway 1 and continue 0.9 miles to Bay Hill Rd. When you see
the sign for Hageman Trout Farm on your right, SLOW DOWN and put your right turn
signal on
as Bay Hill Rd. is just at the bottom of the hill. Turn right
on Bay Hill Road and go 1.2 miles to 1400 Bay Hill Rd. where
you will see a wrought iron and stone gate.
GATES:
The first gate looks electric, but it is not. You'll need to
get out of your vehicle, unclip the chain and slide the gate
back like a sliding glass door. Drive through, then SHUT the
gate and re-chain it. There are cows out there, even if you do
not see them. Proceed until you come to the second gate. Get
out of your vehicle, unclip and open, pulling it downhill,
then drive through and close. Follow gravel driveway to house
– about a mile.
From Northbound US 101, just past Petaluma, take the
Railroad Ave. exit going west. Go 0.4
miles until it dead ends at Stoney Point Blvd. Turn right on
Stoney Point and go 1.6 miles until Roblar Ave. Turn left on
Roblar Ave. (look for the historic Washoe Saloon on the corner)
and go 6.4 miles until it dead ends at Valley Ford Rd. Turn
right on Valley Ford Rd. and go 8.8 miles. You will go
through the little village of Valley Ford and past the turnoff to the village of Bodega. You
will not be going so far as Bodega Bay
(which is a different place entirely from Bodega.). Continue
0.9 miles past the Bodega turnoff, still on Highway 1. When
you see the sign for Hageman Trout Farm on your right, SLOW
DOWN and put your right turn signal on as Bay Hill Rd. is
just at the bottom of the hill. Turn right on Bay Hill Road
and go 1.3 miles to 1400 Bay Hill Rd. Proceed
regarding gates as above.
From
North or South bound US 101, take the Washington St
exit at Petaluma and go west for 21 miles. (E.
Washington becomes Bodega Ave, then Valley Ford Rd., then
Highway 1). (Do not take the turnoff towards Tomales). Go
through the little village of Valley Ford and go past
the turnoff to the village of Bodega. You will not be going as
far as Bodega Bay (which is a different place entirely from
Bodega.) Continue 0.9 miles past the Bodega turnoff, still on
Highway 1. When you see the sign for Hageman Trout Farm on
your right, SLOW DOWN and put your right turn signal on as Bay
Hill Rd. is just at the bottom of the hill. Turn right on Bay
Hill Road and go 1.3 miles to 1400 Bay Hill Rd.
